Join Taralynn of Group for the East End at Down's Farm Preserve for colors of nature craft and scavenger hunt. Each participant will receive materials to make their own color wheel from nature.

July 8 class begins at 20am.

WOMEN’S HEALTH-IVF VIA ZOOM Thursday, July 21, 12:00pm Registration required. In today’s society, age-related infertility has become so prevalent because many women are waiting longer to begin their families.

For families. Please register each child separately, space is limited.

Ms. Candy returns again this summer for stories of the ocean. She will also offer a correlating craft for each story session. Entertaining stories and crafts using various mediums, please dress for messy art.

Make your own one of a kind t-shirt using reverse bleach stenciling.  Blue t-shirt included in adult small or bring your own 100% cotton, solid, dark colored t-shirt. It will be your next favorite shirt to wear all summer long. 

CCE Marine Scientist Kim Manzo will describe the life history of our local seahorse species, including their unique traits and behaviors and the importance of their seagrass habitat.

Join us on the Village Green for 2 special visitors! We will have 2 llamas coming from Cornell Cooperative Extension of Suffolk County. Learn about the habits, feeding, care and benefits of these gentle animals that are related to camels!

Make a tasty pudding treat that looks like sand.  Decorate with mini bears, candy, and an umbrella to make it a beach. Then create a special shark infested drink to enjoy a day at the beach in the library!

Compete with your peers against Suffolk County Libraries in the Battle of the Books. Teams answer trivia questions on 6 books (provided by the library) and score points for their team with each correct answer.

Batten down the hatches, it’s a late night scavenger hunt throughout the library to find hidden creatures of the sea with your shipmates. Think you can spy them all before time is up?  Prize awarded to the first team to finish.
