WOMEN’S HEART HEALTH VIA ZOOM
Thursday, February 15 at 12:00pm
Registration required.
Coronary artery disease is the leading cause of death for both women and men in the U.S. While the incidence in men has been long appreciated, the impact on women has been underestimated for many years. Dr. Noelle Mann, a specialist in both cardiology and nuclear cardiology at Stony Brook Medicine, will discuss the contributing risk factors and common misconceptions about heart disease in women, as well as treatment options and suggestions for healthy lifestyle changes.
