WINTER SEED SOWING WORKSHOP
Saturday, February 7 at 2:00pm
Registration required.
Cornell Master Gardeners Deb Kimmelman and Linda L Carlson will introduce workshop participants to winter
sowing, an effective technique for gardeners who do not have a greenhouse or cold frame and who want to grow
hardy annuals, herbs, and perennials. This is a hands-on workshop: potting soil and seeds will be provided, but
each participant should bring one clean, gallon-size milk jug. This event is co-sponsored with the North Fork
Suffolk Alliance for Pollinators (NFSAP).
