From secret lives rediscovered to famous activists and organizations, join us for an exploration of the LGBTQIA+ history of the Lower East Side in this interactive virtual program with a live Tenement Museum Educator. We will examine a century of material to uncover a vibrant and visible Queer community while tracing the unique connection between our neighborhood and the growth of Queer culture and identity in New York City and beyond. This is an East End Libraries Event.
