MOLLY HASKELL: WOMEN IN FILM VIA ZOOM

Registration required. Learn and discuss the history of women in film with one of New York’s well known journalists. Molly Haskell had been the movie reviewer for The Village Voice, New York Magazine and Vogue, has written for publications from The New York Times to The New York Review of Books; served on the selection committee of the New York Film Festival; and as associate professor of film at Barnard and as adjunct professor of film at Columbia University. She was awarded a Guggenheim Fellowship in 2010. Her books include From Reverence to Rape: The Treatment of Women in the Movies (1973; revised and reissued in 1989; and in 2016); and Frankly My Dear: Gone with the Wind Revisited.
