PIANO AND CELLO CONCERT

Local resident Aurelia Mika Chang, pianist, and longtime colleague, Sonna Kim, cellist, will present an afternoon program of Beethoven Variations, Shostakovich Sonata, and shorter works by Saint-Saens and Casals. Sonna and Mika perform chamber and contemporary music together as well as with other musicians from around the world. Combined, they have degrees from Juilliard, Princeton, MIT and Parsons and have been programming music together for decades. Sonna has been a Fellow at the Tanglewood Music Center, and Mika has recently returned from performing at the Parnu Music Festival in Estonia. Meet the Artists reception to follow in the art gallery.
