Inspiration is Everywhere: A Writing Workshop

Writing is a tool that connects us with ourselves, other people, and the world around us. It helps us articulate wants, needs, opinions, and ideas. When approached as a practice rather than a chore, it’s kind of like yoga for the heart and soul. This 75 minute workshop is open to everyone, from people who make their living as writers to people who think they hate writing. Inspiration is everywhere, and in our time together we’ll use writing prompts, timed writing sessions, and group discussion to find it. We’ll dig deep, take leaps of faith, and discover poetry in the mundane. We’ll also have fun. And who doesn’t need more fun? Instructor: Kate Sewart
