October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Each year, about 255,000 women and 2,700 men in the U.S. are diagnosed with breast cancer. The likelihood of a positive diagnosis increases with age. Lea Baer, MD, a Medical Oncologist who practices at the Stony Brook Cancer Center and specializes in the treatment of breast cancer, will speak about the risk factors, warning signs, and treatment options that are available to patients diagnosed with breast cancer. Dr. Baer will answer questions after her lecture. Join Stony Brook Southampton
Hospital to learn more. This is an East End Library Event
