The elegance of afternoon tea and the allure of The Great Gatsby, one of America’s most well-known jazz-age novels, come together, deliciously, in this program from local author Margaret M. Johnson. Author of fourteen cookbooks, including Teatime in Ireland and Delicious Ireland, Johnson weaves 1920s foods into a formal three-course menu that includes sandwiches and savories, scones and tea breads, and decadent sweets. A sparkling beverage is served. Patrons should bring their own teacup and saucer.
